About The Position

Responsible for maintaining customer communication with regards to RFQs on stocked product, pricing, quoting stock availability and product delivery dates. Ensure all customer product stays on schedule to ensure seamless delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Address customer queries and concerns in a timely fashion, such as: Checking stock for customers, answering RFQ’s as they come in, quote pricing, lead time, and open order status.
  • Approve purchase orders from customers, including pricing and carton quantity.
  • Evaluate production control activities to ensure that final product meets or exceeds customer deliver expectations.
  • Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
  • Confer with scheduling to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
  • Work with others to analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns or optimize customer service.
  • Release order to ship, by communicating with the Shipping Department to prioritize customer shipment needs.
  • Monitor and maintain the process flow to ensure product can meet customer deliveries.
