Requirements
- Ability to prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions, weighing customer satisfaction issues with Bank exposure to loss or fraud
- Knowledge of all bank deposit products and policies
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of various federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act, Community Reinvestment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Right to Financial Privacy Act, Gramm-Leach-Biley Act, Regulation E and teller roles and responsibilities relating to each act
Responsibilities
- Processing new account transactions
- Assisting customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services
- Cross-selling the Bank's products and services
- Maintaining and closing of all account types
- Providing customers in reception area and over the phone with a variety of account-related service assistance
- Performing location clerical duties
- Promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services
