About The Position

The Customer Service Specialist is the front-line ambassador for our company, ensuring excellent service standards and maintaining high customer satisfaction. This position coordinates with various internal teams, and outside sales across the Foodservice and Business Development groups. All efforts necessary to support sales growth with existing and new customers.

Requirements

  • Two years of proven customer service experience
  • Able to listen carefully to customers and provide prompt assistance with a courteous and calm demeanor
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate, collaborate and manage internal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform and thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Capacity to learn our complete product offering and business channels
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the Food or Manufacturing industries
  • Knowledge of SAP, Blacksmith and CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
  • Associate degree

Responsibilities

  • Foodservice Provides a flawless customer experience through collaboration with internal teams on order logistics, inventory updates, and maintaining multiple customer portals with accuracy.
  • Supports customers with accurate order processing and information about our products, pricing, lead times, and deliveries.
  • Establishes accurate and organized records of new or additional products, services and customer accounts.
  • Promotes customer satisfaction through fielding questions and concerns, ensuring that appropriate actions and follow-up are taken.
  • Industrial, Retail, Regional Chain Resolves customer concerns through troubleshooting with Production, Planning, and Quality Assurance.
  • Manage orders, RFP’s inputs, review contracts, complete exports.
  • Provide sales reporting, inventory levels, and accrual recaps as requested.
  • Customer and sales team support through real-time phone, email, or Teams communication.
