This position is responsible for processing new account transactions, assisting customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services, cross-selling the Bank's products and services, maintaining and closing of all account types, providing customers in reception area and over the phone with a variety of account-related service assistance, performing location clerical duties, and promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.

Requirements

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions, weighing customer satisfaction issues with Bank exposure to loss or fraud
  • Knowledge of all bank deposit products and policies
  • Knowledge of various federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act, Community Reinvestment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Right to Financial Privacy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Regulation E and teller roles and responsibilities relating to each act
  • High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of bank or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
