About The Position

McDaniel Supply Company is a family-owned, well-established organization seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to support multiple facilities by handling customer inquiries, managing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for customer service calls, providing professional and timely support. You will also process and reconcile payments, deposits, and refunds while ensuring all financial information is documented with precision. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Office, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to other software programs.
  • Commitment to providing exemplary customer service and contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service, financial processing, or administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and resolve customer service calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions for multiple facilities, including ACH payments, deposits, refunds, and account reconciliations.
  • Build, retrieve, and verify spreadsheets for reporting and tracking.
  • Complete and confirm ACH checklists with accuracy.
  • Retrieve and analyze data from multiple software programs.
  • Accurately compile, verify, and enter financial information with a high degree of precision.
  • Create, organize, and file daily paperwork and folders.
  • Participate in weekly workload rotations with team members, covering ACH processing, deposits, and phone calls.
  • Proficiently use Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and other business software.
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
