Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalency
One (1) year of related work experience in customer relations.
Current valid class "C" driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Bilingual English/Spanish Required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Attentive to detail.
Dependability.
Skills in general office procedures and policies.
Skills in general office equipment and computers.

Nice To Haves

Community college, vocational, business, technical, or correspondence school certificates.
Three (3) years' experience in related field.
Enjoys working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Greets callers on the phone in a friendly and cheerful manner with the intent of solving and addressing the caller's issues, concerns or questions.
Answers multiple line phone system within 3 rings in a professional courteous manner and processes requests effectively, while maintaining a warm friendly demeanor.
Provides accurate account assistance, information and/or routing to appropriately.
Refers callers or visitors to services or resources at other agencies or organizations.
Performs clerical or data entry duties.
Works with various software programs and telephone consoles.
Participates in payroll functions, bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
Handles invoices.
Prepares requests for quotations and purchase orders.
Provides assistance and support to other divisions within the department as needed.
