About The Position

Forest River, Inc., the Nation’s largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses and Boats has an immediate opening. This role involves providing customer service and technical support to both retail and retail customers via multiple communication channels. The specialist will also support the Customer Service department in various roles, including cross-training, processing parts orders and warranty claims, answering related questions, and maintaining records. A key aspect of the role is learning the product thoroughly, from frame to final assembly.

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office programs
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to provide extraordinary customer service to the dealer/customer network
  • Able to work within a group and transition between responsibilities given

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer a certain familiarity or general knowledge of RV, Buss or Commercial Vehicle parts, or an understanding of electrical/technical systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service and technical support to both our retail and retail base via phone, email, written correspondence and fax
  • Provide a variety of supporting roles for the Customer Service department
  • Participate in cross-training of tasks within the department
  • Process dealer's parts orders and Warranty Claims
  • Answer questions regarding claims via phone/email
  • Record retention and reporting
  • Miscellaneous office duties
  • Learn product like from frame to final
