About The Position

A Customer Service Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the ordering process including, but not limited to: order entry, purchasing, expediting, and providing order status to customers. These individuals also work closely with Sales, Accounting, Operations, Suppliers, and most other groups within the company by providing timely updates and responses to various requests.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience with order entry, purchasing, and expediting preferred
  • Experience with an ERP (complex order entry and financials software) system preferred
  • Aptitude to consistently execute standard operating procedures, delivering quality results
  • Thrives on providing and enhancing exceptional customer experiences
  • Eager to ask questions and understand the big picture strategies
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with teammates across various departments to meet customer needs or resolve issues
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Beginning to intermediate skill level in Microsoft Outlook & other Office Suite tools

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with 5-10 years of direct experience may be paid higher in the range.

Responsibilities

  • Execute order administration and management including order entry, purchasing, date management, expediting, change orders, return authorizations, and documentation
  • Support the Sales team in meeting customer needs and providing exceptional customer experiences
  • Coordinate with the Sales team to deliver timely responses to customer requests including resolving order issues, providing status updates, and expediting as needed
  • Collaborate with Order Administrator team to provide back-up support & assistance with workload and problem solving
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to resolve pricing and invoicing issues
  • Communicate with the Operations team to ensure orders are completed and shipped out on-time and correctly
  • Other duties as assigned in support of delivering exceptional customer experiences
