About The Position

The Customer Service Specialist manages customer accounts, ensuring accurate order processing, issue resolution, and a high-quality customer experience. This role works closely with customers and cross-functional teams to drive timely, effective solutions and support operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, logistics, or order management
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in distribution or logistics environments
  • Familiarity with claims/returns processing
  • Experience with systems such as SAP, WMS, or TMS

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders, including entry, tracking, and follow-up
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution
  • Investigate and resolve shipping, invoicing, and order discrepancies
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (AR, warehouse, transportation, supply chain) to address escalations
  • Monitor account activity and identify trends or risks
  • Maintain accurate documentation in internal systems
  • Support claims processing and follow through to resolution
  • Communicate proactively with customers on order status and issues
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
  • Cross-train across warehouse and transportation functions as needed
