About The Position
Eugene T. Mahoney State Park is currently seeking a welcoming and customer-focused person to fill a Customer Service position at the Peter Kiewit Lodge. You will be working with customers to set up cabin and lodge rooms reservations, answering calls and giving park information to guests. Primary working hours will be 2pm – 10pm. Every day is a new adventure at Mahoney State Park! Weekends will be required for this position.
Requirements
- At least three months experience working in a recreational area, scenic attraction, hospitality, historical, retail or customer service setting, agricultural setting, or related coursework/training.
Responsibilities
- Make cabin and lodge room reservations for guests in person and over the phone, giving information on specific cabin types, pricing, and activity information for time of stay.
- Maintain reservation system records and coordinate with other park offices to make sure that cabins are clean and maintained for incoming guests.
- Provide park information and related services to visitors and staff by phone or in person.
- Sell park permits and other resale items.
- Perform related duties as required.
