Requirements

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Professional and courteous telephone skills.
• Self-starter with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated skills and abilities to be goal-oriented and solve complex issues.
• Possess excellent written communication skills for customer correspondence.
• Demonstrated ability in handling details and key follow-up capability.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Nice To Haves

• Underwriting experience preferred.
• P&C license preferred, or to obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with AS400 or Wintam (Applied) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes inbound client calls and email correspondence.
• Provides operational support for emerging programs including CRNA's, Physician Assistants, Nurse Midwives, Medical Directors, and Concierge Medicine.
• Completes a variety of day-to-day client service work including working with brokers, policy endorsements, certificates, binders, payments, cancellations, or other necessary tasks as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service to our insureds.
• Interacts with customers, brokers, insurance carriers, and internal sources providing information about coverage.
