About The Position

Securitas is hiring Customer Service Security Officers for flexible positions in Seattle, WA, and surrounding areas (Bellevue, Redmond, Kent, & Renton). This role involves maintaining composure in high-pressure situations, conflict resolution, securing premises, conducting patrols, identifying safety issues, protecting evidence, and providing information. The company is looking for individuals with a passion for helping people to join their team and contribute to making the world a safer place.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have 2 years security / customer service/hospitality experience.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
