About The Position

We at Alpha Building Center, are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Customer Service Sales Associate to help create an outstanding shopping experience within our hardware and tool department for our customers. If you enjoy helping people, working in a clean, friendly, retail environment, and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you! As a Customer Service Sales Associate, you will provide exceptional service to customers both in person and over the phone. You will assist customers in finding products, answering questions, recommending additional items to complete their projects, and maintaining an organized and welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in person and by phone.
  • Answer customer questions and help locate merchandise.
  • Recommend complementary products and add-on sales to help customers complete their projects.
  • Process special orders as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor through regular housekeeping tasks.
  • Inform customers about current promotions, upcoming sales events, and new product offerings.
  • Assist customers with loading merchandise into vehicles when needed.
  • Merchandise products according to company planograms and maintain accurate signage.
  • Restock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock management activities.
  • Face and front merchandise throughout the store at the beginning and end of each shift and throughout the day as needed.
  • Support fellow team members with additional store tasks and projects.
  • Attend and actively participate in staff meetings.
