About The Position

This role involves administering parking and road tests for individuals seeking a driver's license. The job requires working outdoors and observing driving tests while riding in the customer's vehicle. Responsibilities include facilitator/photo taking support, lobby and kiosk support, VIN inspections, and conducting road tests. The position is temporary with the possibility of hire, offering ongoing work for up to a two-year maximum. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a pay rate of $16.04 per hour. The location is Tempe, AZ.

Requirements

• Fingerprint check required.
• Background check required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Proven customer service skills (1 to 2 years minimum).
• Must have a valid Arizona driver's license.
• Must enjoy working with people in person.
• Ability to explain testing process and requirements.
• Ability to oversee road and parking tests.
• Ability to use a computer to record documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Explain the testing process and requirements.
• Oversee road test for earning a driver's license.
• Oversee Parking Test for earning a driver's license.
• Complete pre trip vehicle Inspection.
• Observe driving/road test while riding in vehicle along with the driver.
• Document and score the test - issue pass/fail based on qualifications observed.
• Inform applicant/driver of test results.
• Handle, file, and record documentation.
• Handle the greeter station (where applicable).
• Take photos.
• Administer written tests.
• Enter exam results.
