About The Position
McDougall Energy is seeking a motivated, results-driven individual to join their team as a part time Customer Service Representative at their Nairn Centre Jeremy’s Truck Stop & Country Restaurant and Esso Retail & Cardlock Fueling Station located in Nairn Centre, ON. This position reports to the Site Manager and is responsible for providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service, maintaining a clean, safe, and customer-friendly work environment, ensuring exterior store conditions enhance curb appeal, accurately operating cashier systems, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and balanced, adhering to company policies and procedures, and enforcing age verification for the sales of tobacco, alcohol, and lottery products.
Requirements
- High school diploma or working towards completion
- Friendly enthusiastic and customer service focused
- Takes pride in their work
- Superior customer service skills with a desire to be part of a performance-driven team
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work night shifts and weekends and holidays
- Required to successfully pass the Retail Smart Serve course if not already certified
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in customer service/retail preferred
Responsibilities
- Providing prompt, efficient and courteous customer service to all customers.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, customer friendly work environment.
- Ensure all exterior store conditions are maintained to enhance the properties curb appeal.
- Ensure accurate operation of cashier systems.
- Ensure all paperwork submitted is accurate and balanced.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as prescribed.
- Enforcing age verification for the sales of tobacco, alcohol and lottery products.
Benefits
- Pay: $17.60 per hour. A night shift (11pm-7am) premium of $0.52 per hour
