Customer Service Representative
About The Position
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. This role involves performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, maintaining daily upkeep of assigned areas, reporting incidents, and complying with safety regulations. The position requires teamwork, the ability to perform repetitive tasks, and professional communication with colleagues and supervisors. Additionally, the representative will support staff shortages and assist the shift lead with punch-list items, while maintaining a professional appearance and understanding customer service principles.
Requirements
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
- Completed all safety and task training certification.
- May be required to be forklift certified.
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Perform janitorial duties

- Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
- Fill in during staff shortage
- Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand customer service and satisfaction
- Understand reporting systems, and of the environment
