About The Position
Points East Veterinary Hospital in Greenville, NC, is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to join their dedicated and hard-working team. The hospital is locally supported for over a decade and has built a strong reputation in Eastern North Carolina. The facility is equipped with advanced technology such as IDEXX blood analyzers, digital radiology, ultrasound, and a Snyder O2 unit, housed in a modern building designed to support complex case management. Points East Veterinary Hospital is part of a larger network of three sister emergency and specialty hospitals, allowing for shared resources like blood products, staff, and protocols.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Availability to work Sundays from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a veterinary or animal care setting.
- Familiarity with veterinary software.
- Knowledge of animal breeds and basic medical terminology.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer service inquiries and provide information about hospital services.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient check-in/check-out processes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members.
- Handle financial transactions and billing inquiries.
- Provide a welcoming and professional environment for clients and their pets.
