About The Position

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to provide customer service at a U-Haul center. The role works as part of a supportive team, assists customers with products and services, and helps ensure equipment is ready for customers’ journeys. It includes using current technology to dispatch and return equipment, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and receiving on-the-job education through U-Haul University. Two hands-on working interviews are paid. The posting also offers a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification through the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program at retail stores. The position is located at 220 Franklin Rd, Newnan, Georgia 30263. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.
U-Haul will not hire or re-hire nicotine product users in Georgia.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer customer questions and educate customers about products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
