About The Position

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and managing the clinical medical records system. This role serves as a liaison between patients and hospital staff to ensure efficient communication and a positive patient experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of customer service experience required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain professional, courteous, and composed in stressful situations.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology.
  • Ability to provide customer service to patients of all age groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a Medical Terminology course preferred.
  • Two (2) years of customer service experience in a healthcare-related environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments in accordance with clinic protocols and provider availability.
  • Maintain and update patient information within the clinical medical records system.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and hospital/clinic staff to facilitate communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality when handling patient information.
  • Support efficient patient flow and assist with resolving scheduling or system-related issues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
