About The Position

Plano Animal Hospital is a growing, one-doctor veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets and outstanding service for their people. We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and self-driven Client Service Representative (CSR) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets. As the first point of contact for our hospital, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience, supporting our medical team, and helping our practice continue to grow within the community.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
  • Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional client service
  • Comfortable learning new technology and software systems

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of veterinary, animal care, kennel, boarding, pet retail, or related animal experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer phones, emails, and client inquiries promptly and accurately
  • Schedule appointments and assist with appointment reminders
  • Check patients in and out using our practice management software
  • Process payments, maintain accurate records, and assist with end-of-day procedures
  • Educate clients on preventive care, medications, wellness services, and hospital offerings
  • Manage lobby flow and communicate effectively with clients regarding wait times and scheduling
  • Obtain medical records and maintain organized patient files
  • Support a positive, team-oriented hospital culture
