About The Position

Vertical Cold Storage is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction for assigned accounts by accurately and timely processing transactions according to company procedures. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer, handling inquiries, orders, and complaints promptly and effectively.

Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent
2-3 years customer service or warehouse office experience
Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook
Attention to detail
Problem solving abilities
Excellent communication skills with ability to read and write English

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse/distribution experience preferred

Responsibilities

Act as liaison between the warehouse and the customer, responding to inquiries, processing orders, and handling complaints.
Report customer feedback to management.
Check drivers in/out and assign doors in coordination with dock operations.
Notify warehouse of driver arrival and schedule.
Ensure accurate entry of product receipts in the system.
Finalize receipts to confirm counts, verify discrepancies, and ensure accurate product location in the system.
Validate order entry accuracy and communicate orders to warehouse staff.
Ensure product is allocated to orders according to customer instructions and processed correctly in the WMS system.
Ensure customers are accurately billed for services in a timely fashion.
Resolve customer problems by clarifying issues, selecting and explaining solutions, expediting corrections, and following up.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing, and distributing information.
Operate a multi-line phone system.
Maintain inter and intra-departmental workflow.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Support assigned duties of management.
