About The Position

Reporting to the Area Manager, the Customer Service Representative ensures that customers receive proper advice, guidance, and support with their requests. He or she closely coordinates between customers and operations and helps promote a positive image of the company through his or her actions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service experience, ideally in the transportation industry
• Proficiency in customer service
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to use various computer software programs
• Team player
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Processes orders received by email
• Enters data into the computer system
• Answers questions from customers and delivery drivers
• Provides exceptional customer service
• Ensures comprehensive tracking of deliveries and pickups
• Coordinates operations locally and across the various Robert terminals to optimize the tracking of customer shipments
• Effectively responds to customer needs
• Prepares and completes various types of documents
• Performs other administrative tasks
