About The Position

BURNCO is seeking a Concrete Ready-Mix Customer Service Representative in Colorado. This role serves as the main point of contact for customers placing concrete ready-mix orders, guiding them from order placement through delivery. The representative will collaborate with Sales, Dispatch, plant teams, and field crews to manage order details, changes, and scheduling, while ensuring customers are kept informed. Key responsibilities include supporting efficient truck scheduling, communicating material and volume needs, and maintaining accurate documentation and COD payments. Fluency in English and Spanish, along with strong knowledge of the Colorado Front Range, are essential for success in this position.

Requirements

  • Reliable attendance with the flexibility to work irregular hours, frequent overtime, and Saturday shifts
  • Strong knowledge of the service area; experience in the transportation and construction industries preferred
  • Proficient mathematical, computer, and telephone skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience in the concrete and/or ready-mix industry preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)

Responsibilities

  • Take and process concrete ready-mix orders and assist customers from order placement through delivery
  • Communicate with Sales, Dispatch, plants, and Foremen regarding order details, changes, and project updates
  • Educate customers on products, mix designs, delivery availability, and industry standards
  • Manage order modifications before and during delivery and provide real-time status updates
  • Schedule truck assets efficiently to maximize resources
  • Process COD credit card payments and maintain order documentation and tickets
  • Support inventory accuracy by communicating volume and material changes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required
  • Strong knowledge of the Colorado Front Range required
