The Customer Service Representative will utilize excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills in daily contact with customers. This role is responsible for contacting assigned customers, selling products, reviewing orders, suggesting substitutions for out-of-stock items, and verifying order accuracy. The representative will also handle immediate customer service calls, sell and manage a short code list daily, and provide excellent customer service to Hy-Vee stores by researching and resolving customer questions and concerns. Additionally, they will educate customers on available ordering technology, maintain communication with Customer Consultants, and liaise with the Purchasing and Transportation Departments regarding product needs and delivery schedules. Participation in sales meetings is also required.
