About The Position

Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. is seeking to add a full-time Customer Service Representative to its team. Schaeffler is a dynamic global technology company with a history of private ownership and partnerships with major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors. Requirements

  • College/university education in customer service, production scheduling/planning, or a related discipline.
  • Three years in customer service or related disciplines.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledgeable of customs related rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Basic understanding of business administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Multi-task oriented.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Must be able to pass Canadian Controlled Goods Assessment and criminal background check.
  • Must be compliant with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Responsibilities

  • Review customer releases and maintain the SAP order intake system.
  • Enter customer sales orders and run reports in SAP.
  • Identify and report any significant changes in customer demand.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and obtain necessary information.
  • Complete expedite sheets and arrange expedites when necessary.
  • Prepare and transmit shipping notices as required by external customers.
  • Maintain customer websites in adherence to customer specifications.
  • Review customer delivery performance web information and dispute lost points.
  • Act as a liaison between Schaeffler and the customer, promoting and coordinating customer requirements internally.
  • Process customer purchase orders to delivery.
  • Maintain departmental records and files.
  • Invoice sales orders per PO requirements.
  • Prepare all customs documentation.
  • Prepare Quality documentation related to the release of the PO.
