About The Position

ITW Commercial Construction North America (CCNA), a division of ITW, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Itasca, IL. This role is responsible for managing order processing and customer inquiries, coordinating with internal teams for timely delivery, maintaining customer data, analyzing reporting trends, and proactively resolving issues. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years related Customer Service experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively interact and present to both internal and external clients.
  • Must exhibit consistent leadership competencies: delivering results, developing skills, effective personal influence.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations as they relate to calculating pricing, revenue, and margin.

Nice To Haves

  • EDI experience is a plus
  • Experience working with Manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process manual, web, and EDI sales and return orders, ensuring compliance with account, pricing, discounts, freight, carrier requirements, and packaging.
  • Review daily open orders and collaborate with Shipping/Supply teams to minimize delays and ensure on-time, complete shipments for assigned customers.
  • Respond to customer queries via phone, fax, and email courteously and consistently using established guidelines.
  • Effectively apply product knowledge to answer customer queries.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, I/S, and Distribution to identify and meet assigned customer account needs.
  • Maintain master customer information and ensure all databases are up to date.
  • Compile data for departmental and customer reports using appropriate business and reporting systems.
  • Analyze report output for trends, problem areas, and potential disputes, summarizing and reporting on results.
  • Proactively identify and communicate problems.
  • Recommend potential improvements or resolutions for department and/or customer issues.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
