About The Position

As a Customer Service Representative, you are a key level of support for our valued grocery store, food processor and distributor customers. A large portion of your day will be spent answering customer inquiries and entering & processing orders (50-100 daily) via the AS400 system. In addition to order support, you will investigate customer problems and/or complaints to successful resolution. To be most successful in this investigative work, you will need to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This role will be an ONSITE, M-F role in our Los Angeles, CA (Anaheim) office. You will be assigned a consistent shift between 7AM and 4PM.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Multi-task oriented
  • Customer centric attitude
  • Minimum 3 years customer service experience preferred
  • College Degree preferred
  • Strong user level computer skills in a MS Windows environment: Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word & TEAMs
  • AS400 experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Handle a variety of in-bound calls to determine the appropriate course of action
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer services through fast and accurate processing of orders
  • Provide pricing and delivery information and processes orders
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments to resolve inquiries
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and the sales department
  • Make out-bound calls as needed to keep clients updated regarding promotions, new products, and attempt to secure new orders
  • Assist customers in the selection of products according to their needs/requirements
  • Utilize computer systems to assist with pricing, availability and alternate product selection
  • Receive orders and resolves pricing situations encountered during customer transactions using current sales policies
  • Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and errors. This includes obtaining proof of deliveries from the freight carrier and pulling necessary internal documents.
  • Submit credit requests
  • Enter sample orders, and follow up with the customer regarding the performance of the sample and obtain an order (if possible)
  • Learn about our WLS system and help in data entry and some inventory control functions.
