About The Position

Interviews customers and records interview information into computer for customer service. Communicates by phone and email to ensure timely and effective response. Role models the Company’s commitment to customers. Checks order entries for accuracy and updates orders with rates. Makes appointments as loads are tendered. Updates TMW with appointment information. Sets up best passes, pre-passes, and satellite radios when drivers get info on new trucks assigned. Communicates load changes or issues to Fleet Managers in a timely and accurate manner so that the driver can be advised. Notifies customer locations of upcoming deliveries. Manages damaged freight issues in coordination with Safety/HR and the customer. Exhibits attendance that indicates commitment to the job; helps out and covers for co-workers whenever needed.   • High school diploma or GED; six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
