About The Position

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for new member sales and creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. The role handles front desk tasks, supports member services, and helps maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness. This is a non-supervisory, non-exempt position that reports to the Club Manager. The posting describes the role as full-time or part-time and offers compensation of $15.20 per hour.

Requirements

Honesty and a good work ethic.
Strong customer service skills.
Basic computer proficiency.
Ability to stand and walk for at least 75% of the shift.
Ability to talk in person or on the phone for at least 75% of the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for less than 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

Greet potential members and provide a great customer experience.
Handle front desk tasks, including answering phone calls politely and helpfully; taking information calls and giving tours; assisting with member check-ins, sign-ups, and cancellations; supporting BCM amenity usage; and updating member account information.
Address member service issues and questions, referring them to the Club Manager, Manager in Training, or Team Lead as needed.
Help maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
Communicate questions, concerns, or issues to a supervisor in a timely manner.
Interact with customers, coworkers, and the public in a way that exceeds their wants and needs; listen empathetically and work with them to resolve problems; identify and analyze problems and seek assistance when needed; and use tact and appropriate behavior and language.
