About The Position

Waterdown Collision, a family-owned and operated Auto Collision Centre since 1974, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role is crucial as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a stress-free experience. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can do" attitude, capable of managing multiple responsibilities and duties efficiently. Waterdown Collision is a CAA Approved Collision Center with I-Car “Gold Class” status and values customer satisfaction, community involvement, and a committed team.

Requirements

  • Intermediate to senior experience in a customer service role
  • Proven aptitude for working with numbers and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Flexible and Adaptable, with the Ability to manage multiple tasks and frequent interruptions
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capable of working effectively as a team member or independently with minimal supervision
  • Computer proficiency – Google Suite and capable and willing to learn new programs as required
  • Ability to work 1 – 2 Saturdays per month; 7am – 12pm

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the automotive industry preferred (e.g. Auto Collision, Auto Dealership or Auto Service.)
  • Experience with industry related software is an asset (Mitchell Repair Centre, Bodyshop Connect, Mitchell Cloud, Audatex)

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers.
  • Answer phones promptly, efficiently, and with the highest level of courtesy.
  • Cover the reception desk.
  • Schedule appointments and book vehicle repairs.
  • Arrange and communicate rental cars and shuttle services.
  • Perform basic administration.
  • Maintain client files.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Receive payments.
  • Review invoices with the customer.
  • Work collaboratively as a team.
  • Share insights and issues with the Team Lead.
