Customer Service Representative - Paws Pet Resort
About The Position
We are an Employee-owned and operated company that is expanding, which provides many growth opportunities within the company. We currently have over 70 locations in more than twenty states coast-to-coast and have been in business for 30 years. We LOVE our customers and are looking to add to the team that helps us take care of our clients! If you are outgoing, caring, and detail-oriented this is the job for you. Hours are a combination of our lobby hours, including rotating weekends and holidays. Monday through Friday, a mix of 6:40am-3pm and 11am to 7:30pm shifts Saturdays, 8:45am-5:15pm Sundays 10:45am-4:15pm. Playing with pets every day (best benefit ever!). Continuous training for both professional and personal growth. Plus, you will be working for a purpose bigger than yourself, and that feels great. Our goal is always to give away a portion of our proceeds to charitable organizations and you’ll be a part of that! To date, we have donated over $551,000 to some amazing organizations! Requirements
- Possess a love of animals
- Must be reliable- we have dogs that count on us to show up every day
- Displays a professional manner at all times
- Ability to work evenings, weekends & holidays
- Lift/carry 40 pounds or more
- Able to stand/walk for eight hours a day
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work on a computer system
- Able to handle dogs on leashes and work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of professional animal experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Welcomes both human and pet guests
- Can correctly identify animal body language/behavior
- Follows safe handling procedures
- Checking in and out of pet guests while providing excellent customer service
- Escorts pets to and from their rooms
- Takes reservations over the phone
- Can work both individually and as a team player while performing duties
- Contributes in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
- Communication with management and other team members
