About The Position

KALLE USA LLC is a manufacturer of food packaging in the North Suburbs that has an immediate need for a Customer Service Representative. The primary purpose of this role is to provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently. It is essential that all interactions are timely, professional, and customer-focused, while also supporting internal departments to meet customer and company standards.

High School diploma or GED.
One (1) to two (2) years of related experience in customer service.
Mathematical skills: Basic math computation skills with ability to understand units of measure.
Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft word processing, Outlook.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including answering emails, phone, and entering customer orders.
Enter and process customer orders accurately using the company’s order management system (SAGE and M2M).
Perform basic word processing, data entry, and other computer based administrative tasks.
Utilize basic math skills and calculators to accurately process customer orders.
Verify material availability and coordinate with production schedulers.
Coordinate with outside warehouses for shipment of stocked material and monitor inventory.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding order status, expediting delivery, material availability, product information and complaint resolution.
Provide requested documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (COAs), packing slips, invoices, and related records.
Support Sales Representatives with customer questions and order related requests.
Assign and process return material authorizations and coordinate with shipping, QC & accounting.
Maintain work emails and word documents in shared paper-less drive as required in customer service.
Maintain an organized workspace and accurate work records.
Review all work for accuracy before submission.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, vendors, co-workers, and management.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, work instructions and standards.
Successfully complete all required onboarding, departmental, company-wide, IT, and safety training.
Support product development initiatives by ensuring all materials are available to fulfill launch requirements.
