About The Position

U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated individuals for the role of Customer Service Representative. In this position, you will be a key part of a supportive team, serving as the face of U-Haul's exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include ensuring customers receive the assistance they need for their journeys, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and utilizing technology to manage equipment dispatch and returns. This role provides on-the-job education, with a focus on quick hiring and payment. You can start immediately and get paid daily. The company offers two paid hands-on working interviews and a $100 hiring bonus. Additionally, a $300 cash bonus is available upon successful completion of the U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification through the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program at retail stores.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work and must not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
Other duties as assigned.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
