About The Position

U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join their team as Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and assisting customers with their needs. You will also utilize technology for dispatching and returning equipment. This position includes on-the-job training, with the possibility of starting immediately and getting paid daily. U-Haul offers two hands-on working interviews, with payment for each, a $100 hiring bonus, and an additional $300 cash bonus upon completion of the U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification through the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program at retail stores.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook-up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
