About The Position

This role coordinates and expedites the flow of work within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules. The representative will review the MRP system to ensure customer due dates align with required delivery dates and provide continuous updates to customers on their order status within a 4-hour timeframe. They will also communicate with customers regarding any additional blueprints, drawings, or other items needed for processing, and coordinate with production to obtain Estimated Completion Dates (ECDs) for orders. Additionally, the role involves preparing orders for shipment, developing daily reports on orders, and communicating these reports to production. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • 2 plus years of experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews the MRP system to ensure customer due dates are in line with required delivery dates.
  • Provides continuous updates to customer on the status of their order within the allotted 4-hour time frame.
  • Communicates with customers on any additional blueprints, drawings, or other items needed for processing.
  • Coordinates with production on obtaining ECD's for orders.
  • Prepares order in ship out or other areas as needed.
  • Develops daily reports on orders and communicates with production.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
