About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to provide customer service at a U-Haul center. The role works as part of a supportive team, helping customers with U-Haul products and services, managing equipment rentals and returns with smartphone-based technology, and inspecting and maintaining equipment. On-the-job education is offered, including U-Haul training and certification opportunities. The posting offers paid working interviews, hiring and certification bonuses, and lists a starting pay of $20 per hour; its stated compensation range is $15.16 to $16.00 hourly. Requirements

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned rental equipment.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
