Requirements

  • Customer service experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Must be able to work Friday -Sunday (not negotiable)

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
  • Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
  • Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
  • Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.
  • Must be able to close the gym at the end of shift.
  • Closing duties include, but are not limited to: Ensuring all members have exited the facility at closing time, Securing and locking all doors and entry points, Taking out trash and replacing liners as needed, Refilling cleaning and sanitation bottles/supplies, Vacuuming and performing end-of-day cleaning of assigned areas, Completing a final walkthrough to ensure the gym is clean, organized, and secure, Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns before leaving
