McAdams Propane, a Meritum Energy Holdings Company in Center, TX, is looking for a pro-active and driven Customer Service Representative to join the team! The Customer Service Representative will interact with customers by proactively addressing inquiries and resolving concerns. A successful Customer Service Representative is committed to Service, Efficiency and Safety.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience
  • Proficient with computer skills and the ability to learn and use current and new software
  • Must be proficient with the current Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and utilize different software
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed in order to safely assist with duties around the plant
  • Must pass pre-employment screening and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in high-volume phone call settings (preferred)
  • Experience in the oil and propane industry (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services and serves as a liaison between customers and the company
  • Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services
  • Forwards customer questions and concerns to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff
  • Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
