About The Position

The Customer Service Representative will support the outside sales team, operations team and customers with prompt service, accurate order entry, on-time delivery of product and effective issue resolution when necessary.

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills and great personality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and apply independent judgement
  • Basic email and PC functions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Knowledge of common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for products and services
  • Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customer
  • Self-motivated and results oriented, competitive with strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a proven successful sales record
  • 3+ years’ experience in Customer Service or related field

  • Oil + Gas industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer requests for sales opportunities
  • Manage customer orders and quotation files with 100% accuracy
  • Coordinate and expedite customer orders, and ensure customer requirements are understood and customers are kept informed of relevant issues
  • Maintain a proactive approach to customer complaints, requests to expedite, and any other customer issues
  • Work closely with sales team and dispatch team to facilitate flow of information regarding quotes, quality issues, deliveries, prospective accounts, competitors and customer feedback
  • Provide feedback reports to the Main Office and Supervisor regarding customer contacts
  • Learn/Operate CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) with comfort and clarity
  • Follow-up on customer quotations
  • Operate in accordance with company policy and procedures
