About The Position

The Customer Service Representative provides fast, friendly customer service in a fast-paced retail store. The role includes greeting customers, operating the register, cashiering, making purchase suggestions, and sometimes working with the food program. Representatives work in various areas of the store, both inside and outside, to maintain store appearance and help the team complete daily tasks. Regular, predictable onsite attendance is required. The position is part-time, with evening availability on weekdays and availability on weekends required.

Requirements

• Ability to sell products to customers and provide excellent customer care.
• Communication skills and a friendly conversational approach.
• Ability to work at a quick pace and as part of a team.
• Ability to think quickly, offer suggestions, and come up with ideas to solve problems.
• Availability for evening shifts on weekdays and weekends.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift, and occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
• Ability to push or pull with the arms using up to 20 pounds of force.
• Ability to bend at the waist, with some twisting, for up to one hour per shift.
• Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with the hands; this work requires eye-hand coordination and may require climbing a ladder to store or retrieve materials or place or remove signs.
