About The Position

Responsible for providing customer service by taking and placing orders. Scheduling production and shipments to meet customer demand. This is a B shift role 3:00pm- 11:30pm. Requirements

  • A high school diploma and two years of customer service experience are required.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficient computer skills in use of standard office software.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn industry specific software and ability to create spreadsheets for analysis and tracking of various information.
  • Negotiation skills a must for conflict resolution.
  • Ability to interpret customer requests and relate to specific parts.
  • Demonstrated planning and organizing, skills.
  • Proven record of controlling parallel and multiple tasks and projects.
  • Must be creative, have excellent analytical skills, possess high personal performance standards and be comfortable operating in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to verbally communicate with customers telephonically using standard business English and acceptable grammar.
  • Understand and perform business mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, ratios, discounts, multipliers, and data interpretation.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with some standardization.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficient in the use of business software and computer hardware.
  • Experience in utilizing different software applications.

Nice To Haves

  • A four year business degree and two years of customer service experience in a high volume manufacturing based customer service facility.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a consistently positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude and demeanor.
  • Regular in person attendance with on time arrival as scheduled. Punctuality and dependability are a job requirement.
  • Confer with customers to determine parts and or services required.
  • Provide customers accurate information about unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays and other requested information.
  • Ability to accurately enter data using electronic, paper, and other means to record information.
  • Processes orders in the scheduled time.
  • Verifies pricing and enters data into computer.
  • Participate in annual Physical Inventory.
  • Participate on improvement teams and/or committees
  • Maintain files for easy access and meet all regulations.
  • Prepare/maintain international shipment paperwork.
