Customer Service Representatives are responsible for assisting Dayton Freight customers with a variety of inquiries including freight pickup requests, rate quotes or freight charges, hot shipments, shipment tracing and appointments or special requests. This role also involves assisting the Service Center Manager, taking and delivering messages, providing assistance to Drivers, preparing bills of lading and delivery receipts, and maintaining excellent communication with external and internal customers as well as interline companies. Additional duties may include assisting with payroll, data entry, freight reports, driver collect reports, and billing and filling.
