About The Position

The role is a varied, fixed-term, part-time position reporting to the Branch Manager, ending in December 2026. The primary focus is delivering products directly to customers, but also includes serving customers at the Trade counter, receiving inwards goods, and cycle counting. The role requires ensuring customers (trades, businesses, and homeowners) are greeted with exceptional service, organizing products for delivery, safely delivering products to site, accurately checking and receipting product into systems, and supporting inventory management and inwards goods.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer service and/or retail sales environment/inwards goods/Warehouse experience
• Physically fit for manual handling and some heavy lifting
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport to support our valued customers
• A motivated, self-driven worker, with the skill to work proactively, independently and under pressure
• Be confident with computers and learning new systems
• A Full New Zealand drivers’ licence is essential

Nice To Haves

• Plumbing background will be ideal but not essential
• A forklift licence is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Ensure that our customers, who are made up of trades, businesses and homeowners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service
• Ensuring products are organised and ready for delivery and secured to our delivery truck
• On the road safety delivering our products directly to site.
• Accurately checking and receipting product into our systems
• Support the team in inventory management and inwards goods
