About The Position
National Tube Supply, a leading metals service center specializing in carbon and alloy tubular products, is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative for its University Park, IL location. This position is the first step in their "promote from within" Inside Sales team. Successful candidates must complete a post-offer background screen and hair follicle drug screen (3-6 months look back).
Requirements
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and a team player
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work with both metric and imperial measurement
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detailed oriented
- Able to focus on multiple tasks
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with ERP software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Strengthen relationship while growing customer base
- Expedite orders
- Assist sales reps by developing quotes
- Create and track claims
- Provide professional customer service support
- Assisting sales managers with reporting
- Interface between departments in a professional manner
- Communicate with customers by phone and email in a professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service, including in times of distress
