About The Position

The CSR has the responsibility of handling initial customer contact either in person or over the telephone. The customer contacts may be with the patient, a care-giver, a referral source, or a commercial account. The CSR will receive, qualify and process all customer orders in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner, and will investigate and respond to customer inquiries regarding shipping, products, deliveries and complaints. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Requirements

  • Computer literate with strong keyboard skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Two years DME/HME experience and knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Retail sales experience.
  • Previous data entry experience
  • Telephone experience.
  • Valid Kansas Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain appropriate information from customer for sales.
  • Verify insurance.
  • Process orders.
  • Input information into the electronic medical record.
  • Manage inventory and commit inventory to sales made.
  • Answer main phone line; transfer calls to the appropriate team member or department.
  • May be required to scan documents and input them into electronic record system.
  • May be required to assist with deliveries as needed.
