About The Position

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for responding to questions and issues raised by Centric customers. The customer service representative will be responsive to customer inquiries and maintain customer accounts according to specific guidelines and procedures. Ensure our customers are on board with billing and informed about the billing due dates and payment methods. This role also upholds and advocates for Centric’s core values and behaviors, ensuring all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. The representative will foster a culture of always doing things the right way: the Centric Way (safety, openness, integrity, attention to detail, etc.).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of related customer service experience.
  • Familiarity with a best practices, processes, and procedures relevant to customer service interaction.
  • Proficiency in the use of a computer, and software applications including Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Experience with a CRM system.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process for all customers.
  • Managing large amounts of incoming calls.
  • Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Providing accurate, valid, and complete information to all customers.
  • Serving as support for gas customers.
  • Effectively communicating with customers and explaining the value proposition of our services.
  • Responding to all customer inquiries via call and email.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude while handling customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Updating customer records by revising their account information after each correspondence with customer.
  • Clearly communicating expectations regarding teamwork and collaboration.
  • Maintaining outbound call KPI’s that will be established by the supervisor.
  • Willingness to learn more roles and grow with Centric.
