About The Position

Hammond Services is a growing, family-owned and operated Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical company serving the South Metro Atlanta area since 1979. We are seeking qualified Customer Service Representatives to join our team. As the first point of contact, you will represent the company's quality and professionalism. This is a demanding role involving potentially up to 100 calls per day. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, including working with a multi-line phone system. Experience with outbound sales calls is a plus.

Requirements

Prior experience in a similar position working with a multi-line phone system, taking incoming and making outgoing calls.
Computer literate with expert knowledge in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook.
Working knowledge of all office equipment.
Ability to type at a minimum of 40 wpm with previous experience demonstrating typing in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
Effectively manage call volume and day-to-day tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience making outbound sales calls.

Responsibilities

Assist the Customer Service department with basic to mid-level issues, escalating high-level issues to the Customer Service Manager.
Communicate with customers via phone and email to create service orders.
Gather and update all information for service files.
Assist field supervisors in communicating with customers to schedule service calls.
Create service information advertising folders for field staff.
