About The Position

BJC Home Health is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist with home medical equipment calls and follow up. The Home Medical Equipment Department of BJC Home Care Services offers quality medical equipment and services that our patients can purchase or rent. We offer equipment delivery and comprehensive training on the use of the equipment. The Home Medical Equipment Department also provides home respiratory equipment, supplies and services for patients who need home oxygen or other respiratory therapies, with staff that include registered therapists and other highly trained professionals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • <2 years experience
  • No Supervisor Experience

Nice To Haves

  • 2-5 years experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing and promoting customer satisfaction during the intake coordination process.
  • Responsible for data entry of prescreens received.
  • Performs complete and correct data entry of necessary information.
  • Updates appropriate areas of patient information in patient records and other documents.
  • Identifies and resolves problems encountered in the order entry and confirmation processes.
  • Handles customer compliments and complaints.
