About The Position
The Effingham Chrome Shop is looking for a positive and energetic individual to join their team as a Customer Service Representative. This role involves assisting customers from all over the world in selecting truck accessories for their big rigs in a newly renovated chrome shop. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with customers and ensuring they have a great experience.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Friendly and helpful personality with a willingness to assist customers promptly.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours during scheduled shift.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Ability to climb a ladder.
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail and register experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Straightening, stocking, and resetting displays.
- Cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, and other assigned areas.
- Becoming familiar with product uses and pricing.
- Receiving stock and conducting inventory counts.
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Cash handling and register operations.
- Occasional cleaning duties as assigned.
