About The Position
The CSR Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and will provide some work direction to custodial staff. This role involves performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, tracking inventory, and ensuring quality, service, and safety standards are met. The Lead will also assist the Custodial Supervisor with scheduling, training, and reporting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 to 2 years related experience
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Nice To Haves
- May be required to have a valid driver’s license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- May be required to be forklift certified
Responsibilities
- Perform janitorial duties
- Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
- Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor
- Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed
- Operate motorized cleaning equipment
- Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs
- Schedule clean up and repairs as needed
- Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
- Track and maintain supplies inventory
- Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment
- Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
- Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
- Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor
- Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies
- Correct at risk behavior, then report to the supervisor immediately
- Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement
